Lucy is a gorgeous, sweet, oh so soft, fabulous Bloodhound.  She gets along well with other dogs, is well behaved in the house, is just irresistible.  She was picked up by Mobile City Shelter. She had a banged up leg and was not doing well in the shelter.  Lucy's ribs are no longer showing but her xrays do not show any improvement.  Her hip and leg are so badly damaged that there is nothing else that can be done.  Good news is she does not appear to be in pain and she gets around extremely well.  At this point Lucy uses her leg without pain so it will not be amputated.  Lucy is ready to go to a home where she can run when she wants and rest when she wants.  Lucy is well behaved in the house, has very soft fur, adoring eyes, and is an official lap dog.
